Everything you need to know to prepare your child for a great week at High Rock.

Packing Guide

What to Bring

Clothing & Bedding

  • Sleeping bag or twin-size sheets and blanket
  • Pillow
  • Enough clothes for the entire session (modest dress required)
  • Extra socks and underwear
  • Closed-toe shoes for activities
  • Sandals or flip-flops
  • Rain jacket or poncho
  • Sweatshirt or light jacket for cool evenings

Toiletries & Health

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Shampoo, conditioner, and soap
  • Deodorant
  • Sunscreen (SPF 30+)
  • Bug spray
  • Prescription medications in original containers
  • Any required medical equipment (EpiPen, inhaler, etc.)

Bible Study & Activities

  • Bible (required)
  • Notebook and pens/pencils
  • Backpack or bag for daily use
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight with extra batteries
  • Spending money for the camp store (optional)

Please Do NOT Bring

  • Cell phones or personal electronic devices
  • Valuables or expensive jewelry
  • Fireworks or weapons of any kind
  • Tobacco, alcohol, or illegal substances
  • Inappropriate music, movies, or reading material
Guidelines

Camp Rules

Please review these guidelines with your child before camp begins.

Respect & Conduct

  • Treat all campers, staff, and property with respect at all times.
  • Bullying, harassment, or unkind behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Campers are expected to participate in all scheduled activities and Bible classes.
  • Profanity and inappropriate language are not permitted.

Dress Code

  • Modest dress is required for all campers throughout the session.
  • Shorts must be an appropriate length.
  • Clothing with inappropriate graphics or language is not permitted.

Technology

  • Cell phones and personal electronic devices are not permitted during camp.
  • Devices will be collected at check-in and returned at check-out.
  • Campers may use the camp phone to contact parents in an emergency.

Boundaries & Safety

  • Campers must remain in designated areas at all times.
  • Boys and girls are not permitted in each other's cabin areas.
  • All campers must be in their cabins by lights-out.
