Located in the beautiful hills of Scott County, Virginia, High Rock Bible Camp has been serving young people from the Mountain Empire Region for over 60 years.
Over the years, High Rock has seen many improvements and a host of different faces, but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to providing doctrinally sound Bible teaching for young people.
Large rock cliffs loom behind the dining hall and boys' cabins, giving the camp its name. A hiking trail winds through the property where wildflowers and wildlife flourish throughout the woods.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, and is the final authority in all that we believe, teach, and practice.
High Rock Bible Camp exists to assist families in fulfilling their responsibility to bring up children "in the training and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4).
Operated by faithful members of the Lord's church, High Rock is an effort to win and strengthen souls — working in cooperation with the church and the home.

High Rock Bible Camp was founded to provide a place for Christian young people from the Mountain Empire Region to come together for fun, fellowship, and Bible learning. The first home was in Wytheville, Virginia.
As the distance to Wytheville proved challenging, camp sessions were held at rented facilities across the region — in Johnson City, TN; Blountville, TN; Linville, NC; and Knoxville, TN.
The present property in Scott County, Virginia was discovered — 67 acres with several buildings, tables, chairs, and bunks. The purchase was completed in 1980.
Over the decades, High Rock has seen major improvements: new cabins, a renovated chapel and dining hall, a recreation pavilion, and a hiking trail through the wooded property.
We'd love to have your family be part of the High Rock story.
